Kara was Embarrassed of the Butt Dance for ‘Mister’
The Kara members gathered on KBS’ Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook on September 14 and honestly spilled their thoughts on the butt dance for Mister.
Yoo Hee Yeol asked what Kara really thought of the popular butt dance that took the nation by storm, and the Kara members surprisngly replied that they didn’t like it.
“My first reaction was, ‘Really? We’re really going to dance turned around?” said Han Seung Yeon, who expressed her skepticism. Nicole added that she was quite embarrassed that she had to hide her face and just stick out her butt.”
But despite all these initial doubts, the girls are satisfied with the dance now. “We’re very proud of it,” explained Park Gyuri. “Wherever Kara goes, the butt dance follows.”
But Park Gyuri added she’s also worried that people will ask them to do it well into their 30s.
They also shared that when the members start getting married, the remaining members will perform the butt dance at the wedding ceremonies.
